Oxford, UK-based Airways Aviation will launch a pilot training sponsorship worth £35,000 towards the cost of an EASA airline pilot course at its next open day.
The Airline Pilot Careers day will be held at the company’s purpose-built training academy on Saturday, 18 March. Attendees will be the first to hear full details of the sponsorship package.
Newly appointed head of training Ian Cheese will also outline exactly what airlines are looking for in recruiting graduate pilots. Recent Airways Aviation graduates and experienced pilots will be present to talk about life in a modern, multi-crew flight deck as well as answering any questions budding pilots may have about flight training, a career in aviation and everything in between.
Ian Cooper, CEO Airways Aviation, said, “Our Airline Pilot Careers Day will be packed with opportunities for aspiring pilots to check out our range of facilities, meet staff and current students and experience our unique learning environment. I’m looking forward to launching our new pilot training scholarship and to welcoming everyone to Airways Aviation.”
Attendees must be 18 years-old or over and should register a place for themselves and each member of their party attending at airwaysaviation.com/go/airline-pilot-careers-day. Spaces to attend the event are strictly limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. A waiting list will run once all available spaces have been filled.
