Scottish pilot training academy, ACS Aviation, has announced its purchase of the advanced ALX flight simulator from the administrators of Tayside Aviation, which recently ceased operations.
This acquisition comes as ACS Aviation celebrates a year of achievements, with record revenues and graduate success.
The ALX flight simulator offers comprehensive simulation capabilities for various training requirements, from small twin-engine aircraft to the ATR42 regional aircraft, this advanced simulator ensures students receive a realistic and immersive training experience.
One notable feature of the ALX flight simulator is its sophisticated airport graphics, providing students with a true-to-life training environment beyond the confines of an actual aircraft. This enhancement further strengthens ACS Aviation’s commitment to delivering the most comprehensive commercial training experience available in Scotland.

Furthermore, airline customers and graduates can utilize the simulator for interview and assessment preparation, enhancing their chances of success.
With the addition of the ALX flight simulator, ACS Aviation solidifies its position as a leader in the aviation training industry. This investment underscores the academy’s commitment to ensuring students receive the highest quality education, equipping them with the skills and experience necessary for a successful career in aviation.
