Repro Free: Wednesday 21st January 2015. Aer Lingus Welcomes New Recruits for Pilot Cadetship. Aer Lingus today welcomed its newest group of recruits for its latest pilot cadetship programme. The airline received an overwhelming response with over 3000 applications for the Aer Lingus cadet pilot training programme.The group of twelve recruits, hail from Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Great Britain and Germany. They will begin a fourteen month training course, starting the end of January with FTEJerez, a leading flight training organisation, based in Jerez, Spain.
