The new London Training Centre being developed by L3 Commercial Aviation at Gatwick has been selected by Aer Lingus for Full Flight Simulator (FFS) training.
The two-year agreement will provide Aer Lingus with more than 2,000 hours of simulator availability on the latest state-of-the-art L3 RealitySeven devices to support the airline’s recurrent training program and recruitment strategy.
“We were very impressed by the advanced design of L3’s devices and their ability to provide our pilots with the ultimate high-fidelity training experience,” said Eamon Kierans, Training Manager at Aer Lingus.
“The support they provide will play an important role in increasing our pilot training capacity, in line with our fleet expansion and ensuring that we continue to offer our pilots the highest-quality training.”
L3’s new London Training Centre has an extensive range of high-end training devices. The modern facility, due to open soon, includes classrooms and briefing rooms that provide a contemporary and progressive training environment for both aspiring and experienced pilots.
