airBaltic Training has taken delivery of its eighth Diamond Aircraft training aircraft for airBaltic Pilot Academy at Liepaja International Airport, West Latvia. Two more single-engine DA40 aircraft are on order for delivery next year.
Pauls Cālītis, airBaltic Chief Operations Officer, said, “Our Pilot Academy has managed to gain significant track record and continue its expansion. We have worked hard to offer opportunities for students to benefit greatly while learning from the first-hand experience of our professional instructors.”
airBaltic Training has also received certification to establish an Authorised Service Centre for Diamond Aircraft at Liepaja.
The training organisation is a subsidiary of airBaltic, the airline connecting the Baltic region with more than 60 destinations in Europe, the Middle East and the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States, former Soviet states).
