Airways Aviation acquires French training academy

ESMA

International pilot training company Airways Aviation Group has acquired the French aviation education & training organisation ESMA (Ecole Supérieure des Métiers de l’Aéronautique).

Established in 1988 and located at Montpellier Mediterranean Airport, ESMA is one of the largest multi-discipline aviation schools in Europe.

EASA approved as an ATO, ESMA has direct access to the airfield and an 11,600 sq metre campus facility. This is divided into various areas of activity including classrooms and lecture halls, simulators, cabin crew training, aircraft maintenance hangars and teaching facilities and on-site student accommodation for more than 100 students.
