Polish training provider Bartolini Air has added an additional eight Tecnam aircraft to its fleet.
From its base at Łódź International Airport (EPLL) in central Poland, Bartolini will now operate a fleet of 30 aircraft, of which 26 will now be Tecnams. The new order comprises six new P2002JC and two P2006T NG twin-engined aircraft. Bartolini was the launch customer for the P2006 and will use the new airframes on its PPL through to CPL, MEP and IR courses.
Bartolini Air trains more than 200 cadets every year and is one of six Ryanair Future Flyer Academy training partners.
“We are very proud of our long-standing collaboration with Tecnam, which has always supported our development and contributed significantly to the quality of the cadets who leave Bartolini Air to fly under their own wings with the most prestigious airlines”, said Bartlomiej Walas, Bartolini Air, CEO.
“It is worth remembering that many of today’s pilots, who fly with many of us on business trips or holidays, took their first steps at the controls of Tecnam aircraft in our company. These additional purchases will only increase the number of well-trained pilots who will be at the controls of Boeing 737s or Airbus A320s tomorrow”.
