Bristol and Wessex Aeroplane Club to close

Founded in 1927, Bristol and Wessex Aeroplane Club will be closing its doors after nearly 100 years of operations.

The club has provided flight training for PPL, night rating, instrument rating, multi-engine rating and commercial training on the fleet of Cessna and Piper aircraft.

Barry Bailey, Head of Training and owner of the Club for the past 15 years has decided it is time to close and concentrate his efforts on other businesses.
