CAE has officially opened its first business aviation training centre on the U.S. West Coast.
The new 50,000-square-foot CAE Las Vegas facility located in Clark County, near Harry Reid International Airport, boasts a capacity for up to eight Level D full-flight simulators, with seven already in operation.
The opening of the new centre comes at a time when business jet travel has surpassed pre-pandemic levels. CAE Las Vegas aims to train over 2,500 pilots annually, helping to grow the U.S. pilot pipeline and ensuring customers can continue flying. Over the next decade, the company expects to contribute more than $220 million in total economic value to Nevada through this major investment.
For CAE, the Las Vegas facility represents a significant increase in training capacity, enabling the company to meet the high demand for Bombardier, Embraer and Gulfstream pilots in the business aviation sector.
