The first Flight Crew Futures direct entry pilot recruitment event took place last month with more than 120 pilots attending.
The event, supported by BALPA, was launched to bring together experienced pilots looking for career progression opportunities with airlines seeking experienced flight crew.
Visiting pilots had the opportunity to speak with representatives from BMI, Emirates, Etihad, Easyjet, CityJet, Norwegian (pictured above), WOW Airlines, plus several recruitment agencies representing a variety of carriers in China.
Event manager Darran Ward said: ”The direct entry pilot market is currently very buoyant, with a wide choice of opportunities for experienced pilots looking for career progression. Flight Crew Futures offered the ideal platform for both pilots and recruiters to meet face to face to discuss what opportunities are available”.
