FTEJerez recently took delivery of four twin-engined Diamond DA-42 aircraft as well as two new generation FNPTII associated flight training devices.
Following a thorough training standardisation process, the team of FTEJerez multi-engine flight instructors is shortly to begin training the college’s cadet pilots on the new Diamonds.
FTEJerez CEO, Oscar Sordo said that it was “only fitting that the training at FTEJerez of the cadets of some of the world’s leading airlines, as well as hand picked self-sponsored cadets, should be done utilising the most sophisticated and state-of-the-art training equipment available’.
The Diamond DA-42 twin engine aircraft are powered by the Austro diesel engine. This modern, composite, four-seater aircraft comes equipped with the Garmin G1000 glass cockpit including the GFC700 automatic flight control system. All the Diamonds are air-conditioned to enhance the overall quality of training tomorrow’s captains at FTEJerez.
