Airways Aviation Academy (AAA) is to provide training to students recommended by Bahrain-based Gulf Aviation Academy (GAA), to obtain an EASA ATPL (European Aviation Safety Agency approved frozen Airline Transport Pilot Licence).
AAA, a global flight training provider, with bases in the UK, Spain, Montenegro, and Australia, will be offering full-time pilot training programmes to GAA candidates beginning October of 2018.
The 81-week programme includes 230 hours of flight training and 767 hours of Theoretical Knowledge Training, and will take place at AAA’s facilities in Huesca, Spain.
Captain Dhaffer Al Abbasi, CEO of GAA, said, “Airways Aviation Academy has an impressive track record of graduating thousands of successful pilots from around the world. We are looking forward to start referring students to them.”
A joint session will be held in Bahrain on 6 and 7 October 2018, at GAA’s facilities in Bahrain. The programme will be outlined in detail, and interested future pilots will be invited to participate in the joint selection test conducted by GAA & AAA.
