Rotary training provider Helicentre has announced a £250,000 fund to assist modular trainee helicopter pilots.
The commercial helicopter pilot licence (CPL(H)) scholarships will be made available in August 2025 and will be delivered at both the company’s training bases of Oxford and Leicester.
Applicants will have to have completed their private pilot licence (PPL(H)) with Helicentre by 31 July 2025 and those successful in the process will benefit from fully-funded hour building, the full cost of a 35-hour CPL(H). The total scholarship amounts to around 140 flying hours, with no training bond at the end of the scholarship.
Finalists in the process will also benefit from part-funding of modular commercial training. More information and details of how to apply can be found at flyheli.co.uk/scholarships.
