Helicentre, a North West-based helicopter training provider with headquarters at Liverpool Airport, has announced that it is expanding to Manchester City Airport. The company will offer a wide range of helicopter services from its new facility.
While Helicentre will be taking over the Manchester location from Heli Air, both companies have said they will continue to work closely together to continue to offer UK wide helicopter support to customers and operators alike.
“We are thrilled to announce the expansion of Helicentre to Helicentre Manchester. The new Manchester base will help us to further broaden our customer base and range of services. Helicentre and Heli Air have enjoyed a close working relationship for decades and I’m delighted to strengthen that bond. We’re also looking forward to working closely with City Airport to help us to provide first class helicopter training and commercial charter operations.” Jon Rayner, Helicentre’s Managing Director.
Heli Air began their operation at Manchester in 2013 and offer helicopter sales and management, flight experiences, PPL(H), CPL(H), type ratings, helicopter sales and management, helicopter flight experiences and trial lessons. Helicentre has been providing helicopter training and AOC commercial operations for over 20 years. They will also provide training for Flight Instructors at Barton and focus especially on VIP, business and wedding transport services with their Airbus Helicopters.
