Jeppesen has teamed up with the Joint Aviation Authorities Training Organization (JAA TO) to determine the potential for European-based aviation training programmes. The agreement will look to integrate JAA TO expertise in aviation safety with Jeppesen’s pilot training, flight dispatch and licensing preparation capabilities.
“Jeppesen is a leading player in the aviation industry. Therefore, we are very pleased to be their partner and JAA TO looks forward to jointly enroll the Flight Dispatch Essentials Course,” said Paula V. de Almeida, director, JAA TO.
Jeppesen and the JAA TO will research the best way to offer multiple EASA-focused training programmes, starting with the Flight Dispatch Essentials course. Training courses to follow could include other flight dispatch elements, and regulatory and administrative operations for airlines and aviation operators.
Jeppesen recently announced a program with TSI, University of Applied Sciences in Riga, Latvia, to develop professional Flight Dispatch / Flight Operations Training courses. These classes are a part of the university’s academic curriculum, where students are able to achieve professional dispatch licensing.
