Oxford Airport and Alhama-based Leading Edge Aviation has announced another funded flight training opportunity for aspiring pilots.
The new courses will enable successful applicants to achieve a frozen airline transport pilots licence (fATPL), along with an instructor rating. Completion of these training courses will lead to employment with the company on a two-year contract as a flying instructor.
Leading Edge is aiming to break down the financial barriers that restrict many young people from pursuing a career as a pilot, with CEO Andy MacFarlane saying, “We recognise that the cost of pilot training can be a significant barrier for many talented individuals. Our new programme is designed to break down these financial barriers and provide a clear, affordable path to a rewarding career in aviation.”
The courses will be split across two start dates, with four places available in December 2024 and four starting in February 2025.
Prospective applicants can visit Leading Edge Aviation at their stand at Pilot Careers Live Manchester on 13 July, or find out more at their website.
