Record visitor numbers attended the recent Leeds Professional Flight Training Exhibition on 12 July at the Royal Armouries Museum, where they had the chance to meet and speak with leading flight training providers. A number of seminars from Jet2, British Airways, RAF Cadets and the Aviation Skills Partnership were also very well attended.
Mike McKenzie, Flight Training Manager of Leeds based Multiflight said, ‘’This is the best PFTE we have ever attended. We didn’t stop speaking with potential customers until mid-afternoon’’.
Exhibition Manager, Darran Ward, added, ‘’This is our second PFTE in Leeds, and judging by the numbers of visitors and the evident interest shown in the careers in professional aviation, this can only be excellent news for everyone. Our aim with this event was to make pilot career information more accessible for visitors in the north of the UK, which we certainly achieved.”
The Next PFTE will be at the Sofitel T5, London Heathrow on 1 November.
