Gloucester-based theoretical knowledge training provider, Padpilot, has announced an update to its training material.
The update reflects recent regulatory changes from EASA, including syllabus changes and updates to the European Central Question Bank (ECQB).
- Amendment 10 to Executive Decision 2020/018/R: This amendment introduces changes to the theoretical knowledge (TK) syllabus, as outlined in the Appendix to AMC & GM to Part-FCL, Issue 1, Amendment 10 ED Decision 2020/018/R, released in January 2024
- TK Syllabus Comparison v.5 and ECQB 2024 Amendment 5: These documents identify amended learning objectives and introduce new questions to all subjects in the European Central Question Bank (ECQB).
Padpilot’s book updates have also incorporated enhancements from the editorial team and subject matter experts, meaning users will experience new images, explanations and improved formatting. The new content will be released in July across Padpilot’s platforms, the Padpilot Reader and on Apple Books, and is free of charge to existing users. Padpilot’s accompanying resources for pilot training providers, including classroom presentation slides and supporting documentation, will also benefit from the new content and regulatory updates.
“We are proud to offer this significant revision to our ATPL(A) educational materials,” said Nathan Gray, Padpilot CEO.
“These updates come at a time of continuing growth for Padpilot. We’re not only enhancing our books, but also developing complementary teaching and learning tools that harness the latest AI technology to deliver cutting-edge theoretical knowledge resources for the next generation of pilots too.”
