Aeros Flight Training has acquired a second Alsim AL42 FNPT II flight simulator for its Gloucestershire Airport training centre. It’s the second AL42 simulator for Aeros – the first is at its Coventry HQ.
“We started using Alsim AL42 last year and are very happy with this device,” said Nicholas Dunn, Aeros managing director.
“It is very accurate and replicates the Diamond DA42 exactly which makes the transition to the aircraft seamless. It allows us to help students train as a maximum in the simulator before flying the aircraft for real. This convinced us to buy a second one, which will be located in our Gloucester Academy.”
Aeros is a leading UK provider of modular training for the ATPL. It has a fleet of 47 aircraft ranging from Cessna 152s to state of the art glass cockpit Diamond DA42s and Tecnam P2006ts. Aeros Fastrack takes students from zero to fATPL MEIR for under £60,000.
