Skyborne Airline Academy is hosting an Online Open Day, showing off its Gloucestershire Airport HQ to prospective trainees.
The 20-minute online tour takes viewers around Skyborne’s brand new facilities, meeting current trainees while showing the academy’s aircraft and simulators.
Questions about the application process and entry requirements are covered in a full video presentation, outlining the training schedule for Skyborne’s Integrated and Modular ATPL programmes.
Ian Cooper, Chief Operating Officer, Skyborne, said, “The Coronavirus pandemic is a fast-developing situation for the aviation industry, and during this time we are implementing a series of virtual measures to ensure business continuity.
“Our Online Open Day video enables prospective trainees to find out more about learning to fly with us, while our current cadets are continuing their studies through remote learning.
“We are still very much inviting students to apply for a place at Skyborne and are hosting interviews via video call. Online assessments can be completed to prevent any hold up in the applications process.
“The aviation industry is very resilient so if you are considering this fantastic career please don’t be deterred by current events. I’ve seen our industry go through a number of shocks such as the global financial crisis and SARS, and I am confident we will emerge stronger.”
