VA Airline Training (VA) has announced its new Airline Ready Qualification Programme.
The programme comprises:
Step 1: APS MCC. Enhanced Multi-Crew Cooperation training (40-hours jet simulator) combined with advanced jet operations training – all aligned and tested against standardised ICAO core competencies (20 days)
Step 2: Employment Fundamentals: Non-technical skills development focused upon enhancing interpersonal skills, making effective airline applications and performing well in interviews (3 days)
Step 3: Simulator Assessment Training: Individually tailored training designed to support preparation for airline employment assessments (2 hours)
The inaugural Airline Ready Qualification Programme is being offered on VA’s brand new A320 simulator at a introductory fee of £7,800 (inc VAT), representing a saving of £1,200 on the standard fee. The programme includes VA’s ‘Competency Assurance’ which provides additional training, should it be required, free of charge for all applicable elements.
“VA has developed a strong reputation for delivering exceptional training with an ethical commitment to quality and customer service,” says Anthony Petteford, MD of VA Airline Training.
“Our customers have asked us to deliver more career oriented programmes, and this new Airline Ready Qualification Programme brings together relevant VA courses into one complete career solution.”
VA’s APS MCC was the first to receive UK CAA (EASA) Approval in 2018. Earlier this year the company launched its Airline Career Training – a skills development programme designed to fine tune technical, non-technical and commercial skills in readiness for airline selection.
