Four cadet pilots on sponsored courses with Titan Airways started with VA Airline Training this week.

The four are: Samuel Van Schijndel, Stephanie Lenney, Gary Field and Varon Ramakrishnan.

They will go through what VA describes as “truly pioneering EASA multi-pilot training” that combines APS MCC and Type Rating training at Cambridge, and Advanced (Multi-pilot) UPRT training with VA’s training partner Ultimate High Academy at Goodwood.

The newly qualified pilots will commence line operations out of Titan Airways’ Stansted base in June 2020.

“Titan Airways’ forward-thinking decision to embrace the three Multi-Pilot training elements of APS MCC, Advanced UPRT and Type Rating into one seamless programme, reflects our own approach to training and will ensure graduates from either Modular or Integrated routes are fully prepared for airline operations,” said Anthony Petteford, VA managing director.
