
Pilot Careers Live, Europe’s leading event for prospective commercial pilots, announces its second annual Professional Flight Training Awards, which recognises excellence within this hugely competitive sector.
The awards will celebrate attainment and dedication across categories covering pilot training organisations, team members, students and instructors. The awards ceremony will take place on Friday 6 November 2026, the evening before Pilot Careers Live London.
We are delighted to announce Captain John Monks, Chief Safety and Security Officer at British Airways, as this year’s Guest of Honour. Having previously held leadership roles in pilot recruitment, pilot training and aviation safety, risk and compliance, Captain Monks embodies the career progression and dedication to excellence that the Professional Flight Training Awards aim to inspire in the next generation of aviators. This highly anticipated event will celebrate excellence in aviation training and career development, bringing together industry leaders, aspiring pilots and training organisations from the UK and across Europe.

How do I nominate someone?
We will be accepting nominations from Saturday 11 July – Thursday 10 September 2026.
Individuals and organisations will be invited to nominate themselves, or to put forward other deserving candidates.
Nominations meeting all the criteria will be shortlisted. Award winners and runners up will be selected by an independent panel of aviation professionals.

Can I get tickets to attend?
All nominees who make the shortlist will be contacted directly and given complimentary tickets to the event. Additional tickets will be available to purchase from Eventbrite.
How do I get there?
Shortlisted nominees will be responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation. Alternatively, they may nominate a representative to accept the award on their behalf if they are unable to attend.
